ANAHUAC, TEXAS (July 2023): Serving Dayton and the surrounding community since September 2021, Dayton Medical Center (DMC) is proud to announce the launch of “extended hours” beginning July 10th. First opening its doors under the name OmniPoint Health, the clinic recently rebranded and is now known as Dayton Medical Center.
A true community-based provider; serving the needs of those in and around the Dayton area, DMC offers primary medical care including medical, counseling, onsite laboratory, and diagnostic imaging (x-ray), and the center is looking forward to continuing to serve area residents for many years to come.
Starting July 10th, Dayton Medical Center is adding another board certified family nurse practitioner to its location and extending the hours of operation. The new hours will be Monday through Friday from 7am to 7pm, closed for a lunch break between 1-2pm.
Dayton City Manager, Kimberly Judge, a proponent of an “extended hours” medical clinic for the community has been advocating to address after-hours needs when it comes to the health and well-being of the community she leads and responded “this is great!” .
Not new to the Chambers Health system, Nurse Practitioner Vivian Valdes will soon be joining the Dayton Medical Center on a full-time basis. Vivian has been a member of the Chambers Health medical staff team since fall of 2019 and is bilingual in Spanish/English. The dynamic team of Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioners, Brandi Sawyer and Vivian Valdes will continue to treat patients in the 4,000+ square foot medical space.
Dayton Medical Center accepts most major medical insurances and as a federally qualified health center, provides access to various programs and resources to assist those who are uninsured or underinsured.
