BC/BE Family Practice Physician - Chambers Health is currently accepting CVs from interested BC/BE Family Practice physicians to join us here in Southeast Texas, to practice the full spectrum of family medicine (outpatient, inpatient and ER; not including OB ). Healthcare Business Analyst – Chambers Health is seeking an experienced analyst to assist in development of healthcare analytics for the District. The District encompasses Bayside Community Hospital, two Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), and a Wellness Center.  The position will be located in Anahuac Texas, a small town on Trinity Bay centrally located between Houston and Beaumont.  The successful applicant will work with the CFO in providing financial and operational information for District leadership across the organization.  We are seeking experienced candidates, preferably with a degree in Business or Healthcare Administration, or IT Computer Science.  A strong background of relevant work experience will be considered in substitution for education.  All interested applicants may send resumes to Peggy Hamilton at phamilton@chambershealth.org.

 

 Nursing Department

Director of Nursing – Organizes and directs areas of Nursing Services.  Directs hospital and nursing activities coincidental with defined hospital policies and procedures.  Responsible for nurse staffing and quality of nursing care.  Reports to the CEO.  Small rural hospital that is licensed for 14 beds.  Please send resume to sgularte@chambershealth.org.

Laboratory

 Medical Technologist Generalist , PRN - Will be responsible for performing Laboratory tests, procedures and analysis in Hematology, Clinical Microscopy, Immunology, Blood Bank and Chemistry. Must have Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology. Must be certified by AMT or equivalent,  and at least one year of experience. Willing to work nights and weekends . The Wellness Center at Bayside

Group Class Instructor - The Wellness Center at Bayside is accepting applications for a Group Class Instructor (2-5 hrs/wk).  This position provides fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members participating in various group programs offered by the center.  Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFFA, ACSM or other nationally accredited specialty class certification required.  CPR/AED and first aid certifications required.  Must possess great customer service and communication skills, including the ability to motivate others.  At least 1+ year of group exercise instruction experience is strongly preferred.

Registered or Certified Medical Assistant (RMA/CMA) - Chambers Community Health Centers, Inc. (CCHC) is recruiting for a full time RMA or CMA. Applicant must possess the ability to multi-task in a fast paced medical clinic, while maintaining a friendly and positive attitude in all dealings with patients, families, visitors, and co-workers. Primary Duties:

  • Room patients.
  • Collect and document vital signs, chief complaints, and medical histories.
  • Perform clerical tasks such as phone calls, scanning documents, and data entry.
  • Assist with examinations and minor medical procedures.
  • Administer oral, topical and injectable (intramuscular, subcutaneous, and intradermal) medications.
  • Venipuncture.
  • Perform EKGs.
  • Administer flu, strep, glucose and testing, as well as breathing treatments.
  • Provide patient education and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Completion of medical assistant program and be certified or registered.
2 years’ experience working in a Medical Office, preferred.
Reliable transportation: Occasional travel to our satellite clinic, when necessary.

Hours:  40-hour work week with varying shifts Monday through Friday ranging from 7:00am-4:00pm, 8:00am-5:00pm, and 8:30am – 5:30pm. Some Saturdays from 8:00am-noon.
